Abstract

The present disclosure provides for an AI-based and LIDAR-based image processing pipeline for immersive editing and collaborative design. According to one aspect of the present disclosure an AI-based and LIDAR-based image processing pipeline for immersive editing and collaborative design. According to a second aspect of the present disclosure a method of using an AI-based and LIDAR-based image processing pipeline for immersive editing and collaborative design.

US patent application filed in November 2025 and published in June 2026 with the Hamad Bin Khalifa University team. The claims describe a pipeline that starts from a single spherical image of an indoor scene and chains clutter removal, multitask dense prediction, indoor style transfer with a hybrid attention mechanism, an editing module and automatic stereo generation, so that a captured room can be emptied, restyled, edited collaboratively and viewed immersively. It builds on our work on indoor modeling from panoramic images. The application is pending; the full text is on Google Patents.
